ApplyShape end-to-end experiences for learners and administrators — from discovery workshops to polished UI specs. You will collaborate tightly with engineering and research to ship coherent design systems that scale across multiple ventures.
Job requirements
- 3+ years of product or UX design experience for web applications.
- Portfolio demonstrating responsive layouts, component thinking, and usability testing.
- Proficiency with Figma (or similar) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS constraints.
- Ability to facilitate workshops with non-design stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills in English for async design critiques.
What you'll do:
You will translate qualitative insights into flows, prototypes, and annotated handoffs that engineers can implement with confidence.
- Maintain libraries of patterns, tokens, and accessibility annotations.
- Run usability tests and synthesize findings into prioritized iterations.
- Partner with PMs on roadmap discovery and success metrics.
- Support QA with edge cases, empty states, and responsive breakpoints.
What we're looking for
We want designers who care about craft and inclusion — curious collaborators who prototype quickly but document generously.
- Experience with WCAG-oriented design or assistive-tech testing is a plus.
- Comfort working in agile ceremonies with time-boxed delivery.
- Interest in EdTech or workforce products is welcome.
