• 5+ years of professional experience with Laravel, Node.js, or comparable backend stacks.
• Solid grasp of REST/JSON APIs, authentication, and authorization patterns.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and production observability.
• Comfort mentoring mid-level engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Strong written English for RFCs, runbooks, and async collaboration.

Day to day you will turn ambiguous requirements into shippable increments — balancing speed with sustainability.

• Design and implement scalable modules with clear boundaries and test coverage.
• Profile and optimize hot paths in application and database layers.
• Partner with DevOps on deployments, rollbacks, and incident retrospectives.
• Participate in on-call rotation with a blameless, documentation-first culture.
